Flowers from my man’s parents, and my current creative project: crocheting granny squares. Slow progress is better than no progress at all I guess… so in a couple of years I will have enough squares for a bed-spread. I could continue for days, adding amazing pictures from our weekend in Athens, but I’ll stop with this one. Not typically Greek really, but I like it nonetheless.

And all of a sudden everyday-life is a little bit more joyfull. This is what I am working on right now: a baby blanket made of all my little scraps of soft coloured seersucker. I am hand quilting this one too. And I have a feeling it will be quite pretty, the finished result…!
A blue-ish blanket for baby-Bastian. Hopefully he (as in his parents) will like the finished result. The whole quilt-thing is new to me – but it’s strangely addictive. Especially when the autumn sun shines through the kitchen window. |
