Where nature had taken over

My Saturday was spent visitng a small piece of heaven on earth: a cottage in the woods. The sun was shining, the grass was green, and nature had taken over in more than one sense. Sometimes it should just be left to do it’s magic, like on the side of the barn.

Apple tree dressed for the summer

More flowers… but it’s impossible to resist when the apple tree decides to show off its white and pink beauty. My inner princess is satisfied.

Sunday-rain

Perfect Sunday-mood with heavy rain  – as long as you’re inside and can watch through a window.

Blue sky and my bike

Blue sky in the forest. Summer is coming and the bike has been out for the first time this year. Perfect.

Springflower

Oh the joy of spring-flowers appearing in our garden. Not a lot of them, but pretty indeed.

On thin ice

Minus 10 degrees and a world covered in sugary frost. I love this! Had lunch in the forest yesterday, and saw the first small signs of seriuos winter: ice on the lake. Still very thin and crispy, but soon it will be hard and thick enough to walk on.
