I spotted this stone-with-a-built-in-tree in the forest. Cool eh? When I was out biking yesterday, I found the forest floor covered in a blanket of white anemones. When I came home Wikipedia then taught me that the word ‘anemone’ comes from the Greek word Άνεμος ‘ meaning wind. Forest, bike, wind, anemones, a Greek word and new knowledge … what a productive day I’ve [...] So. To celebrate a special day, we took a walk into the forest, where we sat by the lake and had coffee and homemade carrot cake. Beautiful and good for the soul (and belly). The mood in the forest a few days ago. Cold, clear and with a fantastic fragrance. These days, there is no walking in the forest because of the hunting-season. So instead, I look at photos and imagine being there. |
