Today’s production in the kitchen: 4 small glasses of red currant jelly. Am quite proud of the fact that the consistency actually *is* like jelly – all wobbly and see through – and it’s my very first batch!

Today’s production in the kitchen: 4 small glasses of red currant jelly. Am quite proud of the fact that the consistency actually *is* like jelly – all wobbly and see through – and it’s my very first batch! Leftover red currant on a bush in my grand-mother-in-law’s garden. It’s the colours that I like – the red and the yellow. More nature art. Red currant from the garden, a bit of water and some sugar. And now I have one and a half bottle of homemade red currant cordial in my cupboard. The first of many more to come. |
